32 Hl/Ha. Vines are 10-50 years old. Hand-picked. Just the Mourvedre is given 6 months in oak, to add complexity. Only 16000 bottles produced per annum.
Maximillien has an intense purple colour. On the nose you will find soft red fruit (think Mulberry) with a hint of earth and spice . On the mouth - smooth, aromatic blackberry and cherries. Drinking very well now and for up to 5 years.
Versatile with food, this will accompany any meat or cheese combination with ease.
