Le Beaujolais nouveau est arrivé!

We had a successful Beaujolais Tasting night recently, on Thursday 18th (3rd Thursday of November) - introducing our customers to a stunning Sparkling Red Gamay and an excellent Beaujolais Nouveau produced by Philippe Deschamps (who was voted by his fellow wine makers as the best Beaujolais Nouveau producer in 2019, don't you know?!)
He adds a small amount of Brouilly to the mix to add body and structure making a delicious wine, drinking well now and until next Summer!
We also tasted a fruity and well structured Beaujolais Villages, Coeur de Raisin (from the winemaker Jerome Lacondemine) which is low in sulphites, vegan, vegetarian and un-oaked...OHLALA!
The wines were well received with limited stocks still available. Any wine lover should try them as they are great examples of Beaujolais and this would help us dispel the rumours that Beaujolais is undrinkable!
