Welcome to 2021 at Lloyd's Wines from Simon and Sally! What can we say...it has not started quite how we were hoping with hugs and parties but it has started and so we must continue, so...‘Uncork and Carry on’!
As we are considered ‘essential’ the shop is open to customers (please wear a mask and sanitise hands before coming in). Opening hours are from 12 - 6pm Monday to Saturday & 12 - 4pm on Sunday.
It is always nice to see our customers face to face and we look forward to being able to invite you in for an event later in the year!
You have multiple options for purchasing now, either via our nifty website, over the phone, or pop in! Whichever way suits, we can deliver to you (FREE if within 10 miles, min spend £50), have your wines posted to you on a NEXT DAY delivery service (available Monday to Thursday, no weekend courier, order before noon) or you can Click & Collect.
With some so called ‘responsible’ members of society showing off their will power by staying away from alcohol for ‘Dry January’ (well done Sally Lloyd), we are happy to let you know that we now stock the very popular NLL, New London Light, non-alcoholic spirit, distilled and crafted in South Devon by the Salcombe Distilling Co. This is a bold and refreshing ‘spirit’ with classic juniper, bright citrus notes and fresh ginger, finished with warming capiscum and cardamom spices. Sally has tested this out with various tonics, her favourite being a classic tonic with a slice of lemon and coming in a close second the apple and garden mint tonic from Twelve Below with a crushed mint leaf (https://www.salcombegin.com).
