A rich and opulent style of Gruner Veltliner, closer to a southern Burgundy than Austria. This is a blend of three single vineyard Gruner Veltliners, late harvested fruit for extra ripeness and with a short amount of skin contact after crushing in the winery. Added texture and body from 4 months of lees aging with batonnage.
Serve this at 12C to fully appreciate its complexity with rich dishes from mushroom risotto to schnitzel with spicy kimchee.
