Brooding nose of blackberry and black cherry with underlying black pepper spice. Rich, robust and powerful, yet balanced by great vibrancy and lift with pure, forward fruit and soft, rounded tannins that wrap around a core of further bramble fruit and added toasted oak spice.
It pairs best with classic Burgundian dishes: roasted duck, goose, roasted chicken, and game birds.
