Incredible wine - at a very reasonable price. You can’t buy this anywhere else. It's beyond rare.
Sorin is the only winemaker in the world to use rotating 76 Hectolitre oak casks for vinification, which keeps the contact of juice and skin and melds the tannins. The wine is then aged in 228-litre French oak barrels for 16 months.
Parker, the world famous wine critic, has given this wine several scores in the 90s - which puts it in the upper echelons for the region, and globally.
Deep ruby-violet color with an intense, complex bouquet of coffee, blond tobacco, rounded out on the palate with mature tannins, dark fruit, and warm finish notes of pepper and cacao. Pairs well with game, red meat and aged cheeses.
