This wine is a real crowd pleaser. Casali del Barone Barbaresco recently won a Gold medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2018.
Intense red garnet colour, elegant and complex aromas with hints violet and red fruit, delicate spicy and toasted nuances. On the palate, it is intense and rich with red fruit and a touch of spice. Well balanced and velvety, it has soft tannins and a pleasant freshness.
The wine has a long and persistent finish. Ideal with roasted, stewed or braised red meat.
