The Chasselas grape is the white grape of Switzerland.
The wine is very pale lemon in appearance and has a delicate nose of apple skins with a hint of citrus. Despite the delicacy on the nose, the palate provides a quite fruity wine with the apple coming through. There is some minerality and quite a long finish.
This wine can be drunk very easily on its own or as an apéritif.
Food pairing - fondue, fish and white meat. Asiatic food.
