An excellent selection of wine that is from the 1st Chateau to be designated organic in the Luberon and also that was featured in the film 'A Good Year', starring Russell Crowe, Albert Finney and Marillon Cotillard. It tells the story of rural french life and the importance of great food and wine, as well as a family saga and a bit of romance!
The white is blended from Bourbelenc, Clairettte, Marsanne and Rousanne and is complex, herby and full bodied. Great with white meat, poultry, mushrooms, olives and seafood.
The red is blended from Syrah and Grenache with the welcome addition of some old-vine Carignan. It is a great gastronomic wine - perfect with a roast leg of lamb, studded with garlic and rosemary.
The rosé is a very expressive wine with notes of raspberry, currants and strawberry. Can be enjoyed with grilled meat or as an aperitif.
