Many of our customers still remember the original Maudit, which gained a bit of a cult following in Highams Park. This is Treloar's special new incarnation from the 2019 vintage.
This is a hedonistic, rich style produced from riper fruit (80% Grenache and 20% Syrah) and aged in smaller barrels for three years.
The original aim of this wine was to match a fine Cuban Cigar, but would be equally at home with full flavoured cheeses, red meats or simply on its own in front of the fire.
