A very substantial wine indeed, with a hint of lively sweetness and good supporting minerality. Huge and complex aromas of black cherries, elderberry, chocolate, oak bark, black pepper, sun-ripened blackberries, cedars, notes of blackthorn and juniper.
A fusion of three single vineyard wines fermented and matured in 300 litre oak barrels (50% new).
Ideal to taste with red meats, game, beef stew, roast pork, game meats, aged cheeses and marinated meat.
